The S.A.V.V.P Samiti founded in 1943 during the Pre-Independent era by Guru Annadana
Swamiji, Halakere whereas Shree Annadaneshwar Arts, Science and Commerce College started in 1966 and added three Post Graduation programmes in Mathematics, Kannada and Commerce.

The founding of Institution was the beginning of the long unending march towards bringing
education at all levels for the rural and deprived children of Ron Taluq and surrounding areas covering the erstwhile of Raichur, Gadag, Koppal districts.

The mission of the institution is to provide the education to the underprivileged, poor and
farmer’s children.

The institution contributed two scientists, working for ISRO as SE, Shri Hiremath and Saibaba Kattimani and Diamond Jubilee professor (professor for life) Dr. S.T. Nandibewoor.

The vision of the institute is to impart excellent education in various fields for the rural student community and thereby wish to serve our great nation.

The institution has excellent academic results in 2019-20. Our college secured IV rank in B.Sc at Karnatak University examinations. The institute conducts programmes on Gender Champion, free consultancy services, extension activities through NCC, NSS, Scouts and Guides, having 200 mtrs. Track, Gym and student support services.
